I'm sitting in a room
There's nobody there
No glances, not a care
In my front, an empty chair
I start to wonder if there's a use
for an empty thought
If anyone would mind
If they withered and they rot
Then suddenly, the chair filled
I look to her, eyes through eyes
She laughed inside my cries
and made me feel understood
That there was some good
in this greying heart of mine
Even if she's not around
my world feels better sound
Because she was so kind
There's nobody there
No glances, not a care
In my front, an empty chair
I start to wonder if there's a use
for an empty thought
If anyone would mind
If they withered and they rot
Then suddenly, the chair filled
I look to her, eyes through eyes
She laughed inside my cries
and made me feel understood
That there was some good
in this greying heart of mine
Even if she's not around
my world feels better sound
Because she was so kind
