Poem: What If We're in Hell?

Pull me in
Push me out
The line between happiness
is filled with intense doubt
and the more it pushes,
the more I pull
I lay down my future card
and it deems me yet a fool
I can't stop this feeling
that there is more to this
An ache between my eyes
reckoning my bliss
Does this life exist?
or is it my ongoing Hell
How are we to tell
if all this quick blinding strife
isn't our payback from our real life?

Poet note: A theory that the life we're living in now is really Hell. Literally.
